Restaurant 'The Tree of Ideleness' in Bellapais is a lovely place to have lunch.


From the terrace the visitor has a wonderful view at the old Abbey.


Webmaster's tip: try their fish, shrimps (see my plate on the picture above) and squid...


At the corner of the restaurant grows the one and only 'Tree of Idleness' (Robenia, more than 200 years old), where in its shade Lawrence Durrell wrote his famous book 'Bitter Lemons'.
