Talks with Isaac, Kolossi. Richard overruns camp. Isaac retreats to Nicosia, sends wife and daughter to Kyrenia Castle. Richard goes back to Limassol - marries (May 12, 1199) Berengaria - and heads for undefended Famagusta, (Richard’s fleet accompanies the army) conquers it. Richard to Nicosia, defeats troops of Isaac. Isaac flees to Buffaventa Castle, later to Kantara. Richard ill in Nicosia, Guy de Lusignan besieges and takes Castle of Kyrenia. Isaac’s wife and daughter in Richard’s hands. Isaac orders surrender of St. Hilarion Castle. The end: Isaac surrenders conditionally; dies 1195.
