St. Francis Church, Famagusta, Northern Cyprus


This church is part of a monestary built by the monks of the Franciscan order
in the first decade of the fourteenth century. Henry II, the King of Cyprus,
contributed to the construction of the building.
It comprises a nave with three sections leading to a beautiful chancel.
