| The museum lies
in the center of Güzelyurt. You
must buy your ticket for the nearby Monastery of St. Mamas here. The Museum was opened to the public in February 1979. It consists of Archaeological and Natural Science sections. The Museum is a two-storeyed building. The Natural Science section is downstairs. Here, geological stones, insects, birds, reptiles, sheep, foxes, rabbits and water birds of Cyprus are exhibited.
