Probably built in the 9th century as a stronghold.
Built in the 10th century; first mentioned in a document in 1095.
Imposing feudal castle which dates back to the 12th century.
1176: the name "Fiels" (Fels in German, La Rochette in French).

Constructed between the 11th and 14th centuries.
