Basle 1571. Thick, folio,  24 of 27 double page maps and six smaller maps in text. Strabo’s geographical work was translated into Latin by Xylandro and embellished with maps from Ptolemy’s geographia Nordeskiold. Small wood-cut maps of Euboea, Crete, Lesbos, Rhodes, Cyprus , Cephalonia and one other. Text in Greek and Latin. Original blind tool decorated boards clamps part off, restored.
