Dozens of ancient or old maps.jpg can be found on the net. However the quality of the scans is
usually so poor that one cannot read or can hardly read the names of cities, castles etc.
Still I 'use' these beautifull but actual useless maps on my site. I hope I have found a way between
beauty and the general good.
English is not my native tongue and most probably I make mistakes in my
text and even in the spelling of topographical names. If you find a very bad error :-)
