is most probably a portrait of the Byzantyne Emperor Alexus
I Comnenus (Comnenos) who welcomed the leaders of the First Crusade
in Constantinople.
The mosaic can be found in the Church of the Holy Wisdom (the mosque Haghia Sophia or Aya Sophia, Istanbul, Turkey). |
